Team Full Tilt member Erick Lindgren has organized a charity poker game to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Mindy Trinidad. The tournament is a great chance to throw chips around with some of your favorite pros and raise money to fight this terrible disease. The game kicks off Wednesday at 19:00ET with the juice going to the charity.
There is another charity game being organized by fellow Full Tilt blogger Michael Craig benefitting the Relay for Life on Sunday, December 21st at 18:00ET. Michael has the details up in this post.
Finally, there is a great chance to play live with your favorite pros at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in another tournament benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on December 12th.
Full details after the jump.

The last Big Money Sunday of November is in the books and we had another player shooting for a unique back-to-back.
The Sunday Mulligan seemed to be the final table to watch with several big online players making a run but “drunk mashimaro” had a chance to really make some noise. He was the defending champion after taking down last week’s Mulligan and was coming off a $16k payday by winning the $65k Guarantee just 24 hours before.
Big Sunday rundown and results after the jump.

While yesterday was a regular Thursday in the rest of the world, we celebrated our version of Thanksgivings Day here in the U.S. of A. This generally involves feasting on roast Turkey and forced communion with a long lost drunken uncle. We do have our version of football as a distraction but that didn’t prove to be much of a factor yesterday.
I managed to overindulge in the glorious bird then pies of apple and pumpkin. I battled the food coma by searching the tables for schooling fish willing to donate their bankroll in the name of good tidings. This kept me up until 5am and got me thinking of those things in poker for which I am most thankful. Just a few of them after the jump.

Our boy Julius Goat is back with another hilarious guest post. After presenting us with a few chapters of his highly acclaimed Stupid/System, he brings us his unique way of concentrating his focus while playing the big guarantee MTT’s and making your bets.
I’ve never employed this strategy but I’m pretty sure the “Moonwalking Bear” move is something even your top pros would never see coming. I’m still finding it tough to believe that Julius_Goat has never won a MTT in his career after reading his post. There is plenty more after the jump.
Sharpening your focus or How the Moonwalking Bear improved my game
by Julius Goat
You know how it is. You’re playing a long tournament, and your mind is wandering. You have the latest South Park open (hilarious). Every so often, the poker client screen flickers to the front and you make a quick decision, based on increasingly limited information. Fold. Fold. Call, fold. Cartman. Raise. Fold. Do you know who is aggressive at your table? Who is tight? What does it matter? You’ve been here before. If you get a nice size stack, you’ll pay attention. But for some reason, you just haven’t been getting that big stack lately . . .
That’s right. You’ve lost focus.
I’ve been trying something lately. It’s been helping. The results have been good, but results in MTT are deceptive. No, it’s been helping my mindset. Perhaps it will help yours, as well. One can only hope, and, after all, I’m here to help.
I have the recipe for you now. Here’s what you do.
Ready?

Big Money Sunday kicked off with a bang as FTOPS X Main Event winner “Julian Verse” followed up that victory by winning this week’s Sunday Brawl adding nearly $80,000 to his $450,000 from last Sunday. The brand new $100K Double Deuce sold out all 7,000 seats two days before the scheduled start and was one of the craziest games I’ve ever watched. The $750,000 Guarantee sported an overlay and the Sunday Mulligan drew over 1,000 players for the last big game of the evening.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending a charity poker tournament hosted by Dan and Beth Shak. The “All in” for Kids Poker Tournament was to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Participants included poker legends Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke along with celebrity chef Bobby Flay and ex-pro athletes Ricky Bottalico and Mike Quick.
The 120 players donated $5,000 each to enter the event along with $500 rebuys and a double add-on after the first 90 minutes. Throw in a silent auction and money-raising prop bets at the table and the players raised over $825,000 for the hospital’s Center for Palliative Medicine.
More details after the jump including video interviews with Beth Shak, Phil Ivey, and Phil Hellmuth discussing Peter Eastgate taking his record for youngest WSoP Main Event Winner.

David Pham at Foxwoods World Poker Finals
Last week was a good one for David Pham. On November 11th he finished fourth in Foxwoods World Poker Finals for $240,344 then turned around and finished third the very next day in FTOPS X Event #16 for near $112,000. By any measure, that is one fine week.
The rest of Team Full Tilt seemed to dominate the event even without collecting the win. Get the rest of the numbers after the jump.

Full Tilt blogger Michael Craig runs deep in FTOPS X Main Event
FTOPS X finished up early this morning when over 5,000 players built a prizepool which exceeded $2,600,000. Each player started with 7500 in chips plus 15 minute levels, this was guaranteed to be an event that drew the top online players and there was plenty of room to make moves. 11 members of Team Full Tilt would cash in the event with resident FTP blogger Michael Craig and Peter “nordberg” Feldman the last standing.
